Family | Steve is devoted to his family and has been happily married to his wife Penny for 36 years. He has three daughters Tammy, Emily and Sally and two grandsons, with another grandbaby to arrive in October.
Hobbies and Interests | Working to assist young people make the most of their opportunities is his primary passion in life. As founder and Director of Young Aussie Enterprise Inc., for the past 16 years, he has recently partnered with Teen Challenge's 'Live Free Tassie' program to establish the state's first youth specific residential drug rehabilitation centre at Kingsholme in the Derwent Valley. He is also an MG Car enthusiast, and enjoys sailing.
Other Details | Steve has been a finalist in the Tasmanian of the Year awards and was selected as an Olympic Torch Bearer for the Sydney Olympics in recognition of his contribution to the community.
